A studio album that captured the freewheeling energy of a live blowing session, organist Jimmy Smith's House Party featured a who's who cast of musicians stretching out on a set of bebop, blues, and standards including Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, Lou Donaldson, George Coleman, Tina Brooks, Kenny Burrell, Eddie McFadden, Art Blakey & Donald Bailey. This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is stereo, all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
