Joe Diffie arrived in Nashville from Oklahoma in the late 1980s and quickly became one of the defining voices of early-90s honky-tonk, a traditionalist who could deliver a novelty song or a heartbreaker with equal conviction. His run of chart-toppers placed him alongside Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson as one of the decade's most commercially dominant country artists, even as his rootsy baritone kept him closer to the classic sound than many of his contemporaries.

2011 reissue of the 2002 Legacy Recordings perennial best seller 16 Biggest Hits series that has been one of the most successful product lines in the Sony label's history. This compilation of the Okie country singer/songwriter's greatest includes all of his #1 hits: "Home", "Pick Up Man", "If the Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets)", "Third Rock from the Sun" & "Bigger Than the Beatles" plus other hits.
