Jovin Webb – Son of a Sinner (CD)

Jovin Webb carries the deep soul of Louisiana in his voice, a Shreveport native who built his following the old-fashioned way, through relentless touring and the kind of raw, lived-in performances that make roots music believers out of skeptics. *Son of a Sinner* finds him at the intersection of gospel fire and Southern blues, the sacred and the profane pulling at each other in exactly the tension this music has always thrived on.
