Kehlani – You Should Be Here (LP Vinyl)
Kehlani Vinyl Records
Product Details
Kehlani released *You Should Be Here* in 2015 as a free download, and the response was immediate enough to earn her a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album, a rare recognition for an independent mixtape. Rooted in R&B but shaped by Bay Area grit and honest storytelling about loss and resilience, it announced her as a singular voice at a moment when the lines between mixtape culture and mainstream ambition were dissolving fast.
Vinyl LP pressing. 'You Should Be Here' is the second and debut commercial mixtape by American singer and songwriter Kehlani. 'You Should Be Here' features guest appearances from Lexii Alijai, Chance the Rapper, and BJ the Chicago Kid. Mixed by Joe Fitzgerald, the mixtape predominately features production by Jahaan Sweet, along with production from JMike, Madmax, Geoffro Cause and Ted Digtl, among others.
