Product Details

Dropped with almost no warning in March 2016, this collection of outtakes and works-in-progress from the *To Pimp a Butterfly* sessions revealed just how deep Kendrick's creative well ran during that era. Raw, unpolished by design, and dense with the same jazz-funk ferment and social urgency as its predecessor, it stood as proof that what didn't make the album was still more vital than most artists' finished work.

The surprise release from Kendrick Lamar features guest appearances from Bilal, Cee-Lo Green, Terrace Martin, Punch, Jay Rock, Thundercat and Anna Wise. Having treated fans with new music during various TV performances over the past year, Top Dawg Entertainment alongside Aftermath Ent / Interscope Records have released untitled unmastered. An 8 song project which features studio versions of the untitled songs Kendrick performed on The Colbert Report, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and the most recent performance at the 58th annual GRAMMY Awards show.
