Product Details

Kawai built his reputation on Ghost in the Shell and Ring, but his work here draws on the same instinct for atmosphere and emotional weight that has made him one of Asia's most distinctive film composers. Rooted in Hong Kong action cinema's long tradition of brotherhood and sacrifice, this score matches that dramatic intensity across 19 tracks, finally pressed to vinyl in a format that lets the full dynamic range breathe.

TWILIGHT OF THE WARRIORS: WALLED IN, the film that most deeply moved audiences in 2024. It's soundtrack is now available on vinyl LP for the first time worldwide! The music that vividly portrays the protagonists' lives and their friendship-sometimes fiery, sometimes poignant-was composed by Kenji Kawai, a master whose acclaimed scores grace not only Japanese but also Asian cinema.
