Product Details

Baton Rouge-born Kenny Neal came up steeped in the Louisiana swamp blues tradition, the son of harmonica legend Raful Neal and a veteran of Buddy Guy's band before he ever cut his own records. By 1994, he had refined that deep bayou groove into something that felt both deeply rooted and utterly alive, carrying forward a bloodline of Gulf Coast blues few artists of his generation could claim.

Hoodoo Moon songs Ably backed by a band that includes his brother Noel on bass and keyboardist Lucky Peterson, Neal indulges in a couple of covers this time, but the majority of the disc is original and incendiary.
