Before they were filling festivals and releasing albums at a pace that defied all logic, King Gizzard were a scrappy Melbourne-area outfit recording raw, loose tracks in coastal Angelsea and the inner-city suburb of Carlton. These 2010-2011 sessions capture the band in their most unguarded form, years before the psychedelic ambition and prolific output that would make them one of the most devoted cult followings in contemporary rock.
