Product Details
Korn arrived in the mid-90s dragging metal into genuinely uncomfortable new territory, and Bakersfield, California turned out to be ground zero for what became nu-metal. Jonathan Davis, the Welch brothers, and company built their sound around down-tuned seven-string guitars, hip-hop rhythms, and a raw emotional vulnerability that connected with a massive, devoted audience well outside the mainstream rock world.
This 19-track disc is the definitive Korn Collection, encompassing one classic after another, plus two unforgettable cover songs, Cameo's "Word Up!" and Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall, Parts 1,2,& 3" along with the Dante Ross remix of "Freak on a Leash."
