Laufey – A Matter of Time: The Final Hour (Watercolor 2-LP Vinyl)

Laufey built her audience the old-fashioned way, through intimate performances and a genuine fluency in mid-century jazz and pop that resonates far beyond nostalgia. The Icelandic-Chinese singer and multi-instrumentalist has become one of the more unlikely crossover stories in recent memory, drawing listeners who grew up on Chet Baker and Billie Holiday alongside a generation that found her through social media. These four additional tracks round out a record that already earned her a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
