Lowell George and company captured lightning in a bottle across two nights at the Rainbow Theatre in London and the Lisner Auditorium in Washington, D.C. in 1977, and the original double LP that followed became the gold standard for what a live rock record could be. Bonnie Raitt joins the band on several tracks, and the interplay between George's slide guitar and the ensemble's New Orleans-soaked grooves sounds as locked-in and alive as ever on this remastered pressing.
