Lorde – Virgin (LP Vinyl)
Lorde Vinyl Records
Product Details
Ella Yelich-O'Connor was just 16 when "Royals" made her a global phenomenon, and the decade-plus since has been defined by long silences and deliberate reinvention rather than chasing momentum. After the divisive "Solar Power" leaned pastoral and sun-drenched, this UK pressing arrives as a statement of re-grounding, the kind of physical artifact that rewards the fans who never stopped paying attention between album cycles.
Co-produced by Lorde and Jim-E Stack, with contributions from Devonte Hynes (Blood Orange), Dan Nigro, Fabiana Palladino, Buddy Ross, and Andrew Aged, 'Virgin' is the sound of Lorde returning to the beat-driven and raw lyricism that propelled 'Pure Heroine' and 'Melodrama' to commercial and critical success. Preceded by lead single 'What Was That' (which peaked at #1 on the US Spotify Chart), Virgin marks the return of a truly generational artist.
