Product Details

Arthur Lee and Love recorded *Forever Changes* in 1967 convinced, by some accounts, that they were about to die, and that existential urgency never left the grooves. The album landed as a baroque folk-rock artifact too strange for AM radio and too beautiful to ignore, drawing on mariachi brass, orchestral strings, and Lee's unsettling lyricism to create something that felt outside of time the moment it was made. This expanded import brings additional material to one of the most quietly influential records to come out of the Laurel Canyon era.
