Collecting these volumes together finally gives the series the physical weight it deserves, letting you experience the full arc of a producer treating the world's record stores as his instrument.

For the first time ever, all volumes of Madlib's iconic Beat Konducta series have been collected in a deluxe box set. Exclusive to the box set is Vol. 0: Earth Sounds, recorded between 1994 and 1996 and released in 2001 as a limited pressing. The box set also includes Vol. 1-2: Movie Scenes, Vol. 3-4: In India, and Vol. 5-6: Dil Cosby Suite and Dil Withers Suite, each presented for the first time in limited 2LP gatefold editions. Beat Konducta Vol. 1-2: Movie Scenes & Movie Scenes, the Sequel, inspired by library music for film and TV, were originally released in 2005 and 2006, respectively. For Beat Konducta Vol. 3-4: In India, Madlib traveled (via his record collection) to the Asian subcontinent for a journey through Bollywood soundtracks and '60s-'80s productions from India. He paid tribute to his friend and collaborator, the late J Dilla, on Beat Konducta Vol. 5-6: Dil Cosby Suite &Dil Withers Suite.
