Madonna – Danceteria (Clear 7" Vinyl)

Before "Holiday" made her a household name, Madonna was a fixture in New York's downtown club scene, cutting her teeth at spots like Danceteria itself. This early single captures the raw, hungry energy of an artist still chasing the mainstream, rooted in the post-disco and new wave currents running through early '80s Manhattan.
