Danish-born pedal steel player Maggie Bjorklund spent years as a sought-after collaborator in Copenhagen's experimental and Americana circles before relocating and deepening her ties to the American roots underground. Shaken draws that transatlantic sensibility into sharp focus, pairing her signature steel work with a cast of players whose roots run through some of the most atmospheric corners of indie and alt-country.
