Maya Hawke – Maitreya Corso (2-LP Vinyl)
Maya Hawke Vinyl Records
Product Details
Maya Hawke has grown steadily into her own as a songwriter across three albums, and Maitreya Corso feels like the fullest expression yet of that evolution. Dreamland, the storied Hudson Valley studio, has hosted some of the most intimate folk and indie recordings of the past decade, and the room's warmth suits her voice well. Christian Lee Hutson's production touch, refined through years of working with Phoebe Bridgers and her orbit, brings a similar careful quietness here.
2LP, Baby Blue + Bone Vinyl, Gatefold jacket with 14-panel insert. Recorded in New York between Reservoir Studios in New York City and Dreamland in upstate New York, the album was co-produced by Christian Lee Hutson and Jonathan Low. It stands as an ode to Maya's musical community, created alongside close friends and collaborators Benjamin Lazar Davis, Will Graefe, Michael Riddleberger, and Odessa Jorgensen. The album's packaging draws from Maya's own watercolor paintings, developed in collaboration with Shane Gelinas.
