Mecano arrived in the early 1980s as Spain's answer to synth-pop, and their self-titled debut introduced Ana Torroja's unmistakable voice alongside the Clavé brothers' keyboard-driven arrangements to a country hungry for homegrown pop with real personality. The record laid the foundation for what would become one of the most beloved catalogues in Spanish-language music, connecting a post-Franco generation to something entirely their own.
Digitally remastered edition of this 1982 album from the Spanish electronic pop trio.
