Product Details

Spain's synth-pop royalty before anyone outside the Iberian Peninsula was paying attention, Mecano arrived fully formed on this 1982 debut, blending cold-wave electronics with an unmistakably Mediterranean sensibility. Siblings José María and Nacho Cano, alongside vocalist Ana Torroja, built a sound that would go on to define a generation of Spanish pop.
