ReLoad arrived in November 1997 as the second half of a two-album creative detour, drawing from the same extended Load sessions and leaning further into the blues-inflected, mid-tempo grooves that divided longtime fans while expanding Metallica's reach. Nearly three decades later, this expanded edition gives those tracks room to breathe again, with 40 cuts that reward a deeper listen than the album originally received.

Metallica continues to release remasters of their catalog, with the latest being the 4x-platinum ReLoad, available everywhere on June 26th. Produced by Bob Rock, ReLoad is the follow-up to 5x-platinum Load. ReLoad contains fan favorites including “Fuel,” “The Memory Remains,” and “The Unforgiven II.” Remastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering and overseen by executive producer Greg Fidelman.
