Product Details

Metro Boomin has been the architect behind some of hip-hop's most recognizable sonic landscapes for over a decade, his fingerprints on countless defining moments across trap and rap. Heroes & Villains leans fully into his cinematic instincts, treating the producer-as-auteur role with the same seriousness you'd bring to a film score. The vinyl pressing gives that layered, orchestral production the room it deserves.

Metro Boomin released his anxiously awaited, cinematic album HEROES & VILLAINS (via Boominati Worldwide/Republic) on December 2, 2022. The follow-up to his 2018 full-length debut, NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES, it includes features from John Legend, Future, Chris Brown, Don Toliver, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Young Thug, A$AP Rocky, Gunna, and the late Takeoff. The album is accompanied by a short film created by Gibson Hazard, feat. Morgan Freeman, LaKeith Stanfield, Young Thug and Gunna. Available on vinyl on March 31, 2023.
