Recorded largely in the Queensbridge Houses, the same New York City projects where Prodigy and Havoc grew up, *The Infamous* captured a specific strain of mid-90s street reality that few records have matched before or since. Havoc's production, built on cold, looping minor-key samples, created a sonic template that reverberates through East Coast hip-hop to this day.

Second studio album by Prodigy & Havoc, the hip hop duo known as Mobb Deep originally released in 1995. Featuring guest appearances by Nas, Raekwon, Ghostface Killan, and Q-Tip. The album had four singles; “Survival of the Fittest,” “Temperature’s Rising,” “Give Up the Goods (Just Step),” plus the most successful “Shook Ones, Pt. II”.  The album was certified Platinum and was known for having a massive East Coast influence.
