Leslie West and Corky Laing were a wrecking crew on stage, and the Fillmore East brought out the best in bands who understood that a concert hall was a place to stretch out and take chances. This June 1971 recording captures Mountain just as they'd hit their commercial peak, deep in the run that would close the legendary venue for good, with West's massive Gibson Les Paul tone as heavy as anything coming out of New York at the time.
