Product Details

Origin of Symmetry sat unreleased in the U.S. for three years because Muse's American label balked at its uncompromising sound, a decision that only deepened its cult status among fans who sought it out on import. Recorded with producer John Leckie, the album pushed the trio's Radiohead-adjacent debut into far heavier, more operatic territory, with Matthew Bellamy's falsetto and overdriven riffs drawing as much from classical music as from rock.

After 2004's U.S. breakthrough success for U.K. favorite Muse, the band's second album, 2001's ORIGIN OF SYMMETRY, finally earns it's U.S. release. Features the tracks "Bliss," "New Born," and "Plug in Baby."
