Product Details
Queensbridge's most vivid document, Illmatic arrived in April 1994 and rewrote what hip-hop storytelling could be, with a 22-year-old Nasir Jones painting block-level reportage over beats from an all-star cast that also included Large Professor and Pete Rock. Thirty years on, its nine tracks still sound like dispatches from another world, compressed and urgent, the kind of debut that sets a standard artists spend careers chasing.
Import only budget vinyl pressing of this classic 1994 release. Debut release from Nas (Nasir Jones) that features DJ Premier and Q-Tip from a Tribe Called Quest.
