Product Details
Olivia Rodrigo's "drivers license" arrived in January 2021 and became one of the fastest songs ever to hit a billion streams, a genuine cultural rupture that felt generational. Pairing it here with David Byrne, whose Talking Heads classic "Burning Down the House" has its own four-decade live legacy, makes for a genuinely strange and satisfying dialogue across pop eras. The translucent red wax makes this one worth pulling out of the sleeve just to hold up to the light.
Experience “drivers license” for the first time all over again – this time through the voice of the legendary David Byrne. Celebrating five years since Olivia’s breakout single, this limited first pressing vinyl features Byrne’s cover of “drivers license” on Side A, and Olivia and David’s live performance of “burning down the house” from Governor’s Ball on Side B. Pressed on red translucent 7-inch vinyl.
