P.M. Dawn – The Bliss Album...? (Galaxy Blue Vinyl/)

Prince Be and DJ Minutemix built P.M. Dawn on a paradox: hip-hop architecture holding up clouds of soul, pop, and psychedelia that most of their contemporaries wouldn't touch. The Bliss Album...?, their 1993 follow-up to the breakthrough Of the Heart, of the Soul and of the Cross, leaned even deeper into that dream logic, blending samples and live instrumentation into something that still resists easy categorization. A limited pressing on galaxy blue vinyl does justice to music that was always more about color than category.
