Pachyman is the solo project of Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio guitarist J.T. Brown, which makes his deep devotion to analog dub textures and vintage reggae production all the more striking. Where most guitarists chase the spotlight, Brown disappears into the console, sculpting space and low-end weight with the patience of a true studio obsessive.

In the spirit of classic Jamaican recordings of the late '70s and early '80s, Pachyman's sophomore record continues his ventures in dub and roots reggae. This time going further into the early Studio One sound, Sly & Robbie’s steppers style and a bit of soul jazz reggae. Mixed using the techniques of Scientist and King Tubby, Pachy pays tribute to the sonic pallet of the dub masters themselves. Recorded in 2019 at his own 333 House studio.
