Product Details
Watching McCartney navigate the wreckage of the Beatles and rebuild himself into one of rock's most commercially and creatively vital solo acts is one of the great second-act stories in popular music. This soundtrack pulls from the Wings years, a run that produced genuine radio staples alongside deeper catalog cuts that longtime fans have long treasured. Morgan Neville's documentary framing gives these recordings new connective tissue.
'Each of these songs is a result of some creative impulse of who Paul was at that moment in time.' - Morgan Neville
Man On The Run (Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack) is taken from the Amazon MGM Studios feature
documentary Paul McCartney Man on the Run directed by Academy Award winner Morgan Neville.
This set contains deep cuts and fan favourites from McCartney's post-Beatles career, soundtracking the journey of
Paul’s emergence from the dissolution of the world’s biggest band to proving to critics and fans that not all great acts
are impossible to follow.
This album compiles many of the key recordings from the motion picture for the first time on vinyl - including
previously unreleased tracks 'Live and Let Die (Rockshow),' 'Gotta Sing Gotta Dance' and 'Arrow Through Me (Rough
Mix).'
Available now on 180g black vinyl, including a pull-out poster.
