Phil Collins – Essential Going Back (180 Gram LP Vinyl)

Motown and classic soul ran through Phil Collins long before he made it explicit. A lifelong devotee of the Detroit sound, Collins spent decades channeling those influences through Genesis and his own solo work before finally recording a full album of the music that shaped him. Essential Going Back distills that project to its core, a Collins in his element paying honest tribute to the songs he grew up loving.
