Wembley Empire Pool, November 1974: Pink Floyd were nine months past the release of *The Dark Side of the Moon* and already the album had become something larger than any of them had anticipated, a permanent fixture in the cultural atmosphere. Catching the band at that particular moment, still inside the album's first commercial surge but fully locked into its live architecture, makes this document something the studio recording simply cannot replicate.
