Primus – Pork Soda (2-LP Vinyl)

Les Claypool's bass work has always occupied its own taxonomy, and *Pork Soda* (1993) is where that reality hit the mainstream hardest. The record arrived at a strange cultural crossroads, too weird for radio comfort yet commercially undeniable, a tension that defines Primus at their peak. Claypool, Larry LaLonde, and Tim Alexander locked into something genuinely menacing here, equal parts funk, metal, and carnival.
