Product Details
Lynn Gunn has been quietly building one of modern rock's most distinctive catalogs since PVRIS emerged from Lowell, Massachusetts in the early 2010s, and *Evergreen* finds the project operating with a sharper sense of self than ever. The collaboration with Mike Shinoda signals exactly the kind of cross-generational rock conversation this moment calls for, connecting a new wave of boundary-pushers to the generation that rewired the genre before them.
Pvris is on fire and you can't tame it. With the new album (their fourth studio album), EVERGREEN, the band known for being enigmatic and mysterious, is as bold and aggressive as ever, and fully aware that this is a statement. Having felt caged in the machine of modern-day society, Pvris sought to fight back the only way they knew how, through innovative interpretation of the rock resurgence in music today and flipping it on it's head. Challenging the critics that put them in a box, Pvris defied genre and past expectations with songs like the fearless and valiant, "GODDESS," the effervescent "ANYWHERE BUT HERE" and the Mike Shinoda-produced anthem "TAKE MY NIRVANA." With a huge year ahead playing Sad Summer Festival with Taking Back Sunday, rooms with POPPY, and UK arenas with Fall Out Boy, Pvris is ready to burn down the everything you think you know and unleash the album of the Summer.
