Product Details

Reveal arrived in 2001 as R.E.M. were quietly shifting gears, leaning into lush, sun-drenched production with a warmth that set it apart from the harder edges of their late-'90s work. The Paris radio sessions captured here document a band road-testing those songs in intimate form, a document that sheds real light on how the material translated outside the studio.

Celebrate 25 years of R.E.M.’s Reveal with this deluxe 3-disc edition. The original album—including “Imitation Of Life” and “All The Way To Reno (You’re Gonna Be A Star)”—is paired with The Black Sessions Revealed, recorded live for Radio France in 2001. A Blu-ray rounds out the set with hi-res and 5.1 surround audio, music videos, and the original Reveal EPK.
