Product Details
Released in 1994, *Let's Go* was the album that announced Rancid as more than a promising Bay Area punk act, with Tim Armstrong and Lars Frederiksen's twin-guitar attack and Matt Freeman's melodic bass runs pointing straight toward *...And Out Come the Wolves*. Cutting it across five 7-inches is exactly right; these songs were born for the format, rooted in a punk singles tradition that runs from the Clash to Operation Ivy.
Let's Go has never sounded so huge. Already available on virtually every other format and sold out on most, this recording will pass all tests - it's as audiophile as it gets. The intentional grittiness of this record is the essence of why Rancid is Rancid, and why some things never change - and shouldn't. 7" pack is bound together with a collectible, printed, faux leather obi-strip and is limited to 1,000 copies.
