Formed in London in the early '80s, Rudimentary Peni occupied a singular corner of the UK anarcho-punk scene, pairing Nick Blinko's feverish, obsessive artwork with music that felt genuinely unhinged in the best possible way. These early EPs captured the band before the gothic sprawl of later records like *Cacophony*, raw and skeletal, rooted in the same DIY circuit that produced Crass and Flux of Pink Indians but sounding like nothing else around them.

Rudimentary Peni - The E.P.'s of R.P. - The E.P.'s of R.P. is a 1987 Corpus Christi Records compilation of Rudimentary Peni's first two 7-inch EPs - Rudimentary Peni (1981) and Farce (1982) - reissued officially for the first time on Sealed Records.
