Product Details

Released in 1976, 2112 was the album that saved Rush's career, a defiant response to label pressure to write shorter, more commercial material. The side-long title suite, drawing on Ayn Rand's *Anthem*, announced the band as prog-rock architects on their own uncompromising terms, and Canadian rock was never quite the same afterward.

Features 20-bit digital remastering from the original master tapes and enhanced packaging faithful to the original LP release. Tracks include "2112," "Overture," "The Temples of Syrinx," "The Dream, " "Soliloquy," "Grand Finale," "The Twilight Zone," "Lessons," "Tears," Something for Nothing" and more.
