Product Details

Riding the commercial momentum of Supernatural's record-breaking run, Shaman found Carlos Santana leaning deeper into spiritual themes, the album's title and artwork drawing on indigenous Mexican traditions central to his lifelong worldview. The 2002 release proved he could pull off the guest-driven formula twice without losing the unmistakable tone and sustain that has made his guitar voice one of the most recognizable in rock history.

Carlos Santana's nineteenth studio album Shaman was released in 2002 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. Just like it's predecessor Supernatural, Santana invited contemporary artists to collaborate with him across genres including neo-soul, pop, rock, metal, and opera. Artists such as Seal, P. O. D. , Chad Kroeger, Dido, Michelle Branch, Macy Gray, Music, Citizen Cope, Alejandro Lerner, Placido Domingos, and Ozomatli can be heard on the album. Four tracks were released as singles: 'The Game Of Love', 'Nothing At All', 'Why Don't You & I', and 'Feels Like Fire'. Shaman is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on yellow, red & orange marbled vinyl and includes an insert.
