Product Details
Shinedown have spent the better part of two decades quietly building one of the most consistent track records in mainstream rock, racking up more Billboard Mainstream Rock number ones than virtually any act of their generation. EI8HT arrives as a statement of exactly that staying power, with Bass and Smith shaping the record from the inside out rather than handing the reins to an outside producer.
Shinedown return with their long-awaited studio album EI8HT, led by the powerful new single "Safe and Sound." The release follows a historic year that saw four major singles featured on the album — three #1 hits Three, Six Five, Dance, Kid Dance, and Killing Fields, along with Searchlight, which debuted at the iconic Grand Ole Opry and continues to climb at radio.
The momentum continued with a massive sold-out arena tour, including Madison Square Garden. Self-produced by bassist Eric Bass and co-written with front man Brent Smith, the 18-track album balances arena-sized rock with deeply introspective, relatable lyrics, delivering something for everyone and reaffirming Shinedown’s identity as everyone’s band.
