Product Details

Skillet has long occupied a unique space in Christian rock, but *Comatose* (2006) is the album that pushed them toward genuine mainstream crossover, eventually going platinum and introducing the band to arenas they'd continue filling for years. Fronted by husband-and-wife duo John and Korey Cooper, the band brought a cinematic heaviness here that connected with listeners well outside the Christian music ecosystem.

With COMATOSE it seems Skillet's struck gold yet again, building off the refined musicianship found on their last album COLLIDE and taking it to even more jaw dropping extremes. The lead single is "Whispers", which is a complex but accessible amalgamation of jarring guitars, humonguous power chords and neck snapping reactions calling all to come alive.
