Product Details
Sleep Token built their following almost entirely through mystique and word-of-mouth devotion before the wider rock world caught up, and *Sundowning* is where that foundation was laid. The London collective's debut full-length introduced the masked figure known only as Vessel and a sound that pulls from R&B, metal, and ambient music without settling into any of them, earning a fiercely loyal community who treat the band's mythology as seriously as the songs themselves.
2019 release. From June to November, through 12 tracks and passing seasons, Sleep Token reveals an evenly-spaced, precisely-timed sequence of recordings that stand as both individual touchstones and carefully aligned musical pieces, all informed by a common emotional thread.
