Product Details

Sleep Token occupies genuinely strange territory in contemporary heavy music, building a devoted following through ritual-like live performances and a mythology that keeps the project's membership deliberately obscured. Released in 2021, this sophomore full-length expanded the project's palette beyond the debut's more stripped-back atmosphere, weaving together R&B textures, post-metal weight, and hushed acoustic passages in ways that caught the attention of listeners well outside the metal underground.

Beneath the Sleep Token banner, lies the unique, broad-based vision of one individual - anonymous, silent, masked, armed with a staggering vocal range, a deft touch on the keyboards, plus a live approach that is never less than fully engaged. The UK underground entity only known as Sleep Token, begins again but born anew. The new album This Place Will Become Your Tomb, pushes the boundaries of Sleep Token's sound into new avenues of blurring genres while still retaining the signatures.
