Product Details
Recorded in the spring of 1987, *Strangeways Here We Come* captured a band already fracturing, with Morrissey and Marr completing their most orchestrally ambitious work together just months before their split. The tension in that dissolution runs through every track, giving the album a weight that retrospect only deepens.
Softpack CD reissue of The Smiths' fourth and final album released in September 1987 includes the singles "Girlfriend in a Coma", "I Started Something I Couldn't Finish", "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me" and "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before".
