Spandau Ballet – Diamond (CD)

Spandau Ballet arrived at the center of the early-80s New Romantic movement, helping define a sound and aesthetic that swept outward from London's club scene into global pop consciousness. *Diamond*, their second album, captured the band mid-stride, refining the sleek, sophisticated funk-inflected pop they'd built their reputation on before the massive commercial breakthrough that followed. For fans of that era's sharp-dressed, synth-driven ambition, this UK pressing is the real thing.
