Sparks – Music That You Can Dance To (LP Vinyl)

Ron and Russell Mael have spent five decades confounding expectations, and their 1986 synth-pop offering found them leaning hard into the dancefloor at a moment when most of their art-rock peers were hedging their bets. Produced with a crisp, club-ready sheen, it's the kind of Sparks record that rewards listeners who came to the band through their earlier glam and orchestral work and stuck around long enough to see where the brothers' restless curiosity would take them next.
