Product Details
Scott Weiland's voice was one of the most chameleonic in '90s rock, and these five albums trace STP's full arc from the sludgy, Sabbath-and-Vedder-inflected weight of *Core* through the cleaner, more melodic risks of *Shangri-La Dee Da*. What gets overlooked in the grunge-era conversation is how restless this band actually was, shifting textures and tempos across each record rather than chasing a formula.
2013 five CD set containing a quintet of albums from the Grunge/Alt Rockers, each housed in a miniature LP sleeve. Includes the albums Core (1992), Purple (1994), Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop (1996), No 4 (1999) and Shangri-La Dee Da (2001).
