Product Details

The mid-1970s were peak Tangerine Dream, with Edgar Froese, Christopher Franken, and Peter Baumann locked into a trio lineup that defined the group's most celebrated era. Recorded live in 1976, this performance captures the band deep in the run between their landmark Virgin Records albums, when their sprawling, sequencer-driven soundscapes were drawing concert crowds across Europe who had never experienced anything quite like it.

Tangerine Dream are considered a pioneering act in electronica. Their work with the electronic music Ohr label produced albums that had a pivotal role in the development of the German musical scene known as kosmische Musik ("cosmic music").
