The Seeds of Love is Tears for Fears' acclaimed third studio album, originally released in September 1989. A commercial and critical triumph, it debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and achieved platinum certification from the BPI within just three weeks. In the United States, the album reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and was also certified platinum, while charting in the Top 10 across numerous countries worldwide.
