San Francisco's Beau Brummels were one of the few American acts to genuinely hold their own against the British Invasion in 1965, scoring with the melancholy jangle of "Laugh, Laugh" and "Just a Little" before most of their Bay Area peers had even formed. Their arc from blue-eyed folk-pop to the country-tinged introspection of albums like "Triangle" made them quiet pioneers of sounds that Americana and roots artists would spend decades chasing.

This is not your average best-of album! The Beau Brummels are excellently represented by their top singles here, which highlight their folk roots as well as their pop- and country-rock style that brought them their biggest hits. But it also includes some songs which never appeared on albums, and were released only as singles or even only as live performances. 18 tracks in total for the complete Brummels experience!
