Product Details
Filmed at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden and released by Relix Records, The Best of The Jammys: Volume Two widens the lens—more genres, more cross-pollination, and even wilder collaborations. From blues and funk to psychedelic rock and gospel, it’s a vivid panorama of the mid-2000s jam world.
Standouts include Blues Traveler with Bettye LaVette & DJ Logic (“Joy”), the Rhythm Devils (Mickey Hart & Bill Kreutzmann) igniting “Jam → Jingo,” and a blistering “Cortez the Killer” from Steve Kimock Band with Joe Satriani & Grace Potter. Elsewhere, Particle pairs with The B-52’s for “Love Shack,” the Blind Boys of Alabama join Robert Randolph & The Family Band on “Spirit in the Dark,” and Gov’t Mule hosts Gregg Allman, Trey Anastasio & Derek Trucks for “Soulshine,” before a star-studded finale on “Jammin’.”
